Weddings
We believe that a wedding is a religious event. The music, readings, and liturgy of the service should be rooted in Christian tradition and will honor and glorify the God who joins the couple in Christian marriage.
If members have not reserved the sanctuary for a wedding or other event, non-members may pay a fee to be married in our beautiful church. Minimum required fees for non-members of the church include $900 Sanctuary rental fee, $175 security/custodian fee, $50 sound tech fee, and $200 wedding coordinator fee, as well as pay a $400 refundable deposit at the time of signing a contract. If you are interested in being married in the church, contact one of the wedding coordinators listed below for more information or the chuch office during office hours (Tues-Fri, 9-3:30 - closed Fridays during the summer) for a tour of the church.
In the past few years, our beautiful sanctuary has been the site of weddings for many couples who are impressed by the elegant yet simple background in which to exchange their vows. You are welcome to have another ordained pastor preside at your wedding at First Presbyterian.

The basic wedding package includes sanctuary rental, custodial/security, a wedding representative, and a sound tech for $1325. In addition, a $400 refundable deposit at the time of signing a contract is required which secures your wedding date. Other options available would include having an organist, having our pastor preside, and renting our reception hall.
