The Rev. Dr. Krista Kiger
Pastor/Head of Staff
Influences: Mom and Dad, my son Sidney, my sister Marta and my nieces, Cameron and Taylor, all of my birth family; liberation theology, the Civil Rights movement, Robert McAfee Brown, Martin Luther King Jr., Eugene Peterson, Revs. Louis and Connie Monroe, Rev. Omotolokun Omokunde.

Epic moments: Getting adopted, graduations, ordination, adopting my son, mission trip to Alaska at age 17 when I received my call to ministry.

Education: B.A. in History from the University of California, San Diego; M.Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary; D.Min degree from St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City.

Favorite books: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte; The Poet, The Warrior, and The Prophet by Ruben Alves; Love in a Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia.

Favorite Movies: Babette's Feast, The Sound of Music, Sense and Sensibility, Cinema Paradiso, Schindler's List

Jason Jasper
Assistant to the Music Ministry
General Info: Jason Jasper (formerly Howell) is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and has lived in Charles City, Iowa.

Education: Certificate in assisted nursing from Northern Iowa Area Community College in Mason City and is a registered Pharmacy Technician. He studied music therapy at the University of Kansas for three years as well as Music Technology at Missouri Western State University.

Experience: Jason has been a pianist for several churches including the Church of the Resurrection West in Olathe, Kansas. While at KU, he worked in circulation and cataloguing at KU's Thomas Gorton Music and Dance Library. He has extensive experience in choral ensembles and playing trumpet in an orchestra and symphonic, marching and jazz bands as well as studying classical guitar and ukulele.

Spare Time: In his spare time, he records and performs with his band, Area of Refuge, as the lead vocalist and pianist and as a solo artist known as The Michaels Project.

Employment History: Along with his internship at FPC, Jason is currently employed by Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health working in quality assurance.

Epic moments: College; getting married; the births of our three children and watching them grow into fine young adults and blessing us with beautiful, healthy grandchildren!

Education: B.S. in Medical Technology from St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, Kansas.

Spare Time: Spending time with family ~ seeing the world through the eyes of our grandkids ~ Facebook :) ~ movies and sports ... I've been a fan of KU "Rock Chalk Jayhawk" basketball and OU "Boomer Sooner" football for as long as I can remember! I'm looking forward to enjoying the grandkids' activities for many years!
Bobby Brown
Bobby and his wife, Cindy, have 3 grown daughters and one grandson, 17-month-old Clayton.

He worked for 30 years at St. Joe Packing and seven years in the Savannah school district in the custodial/maintenance department then came out of retirement to join our staff.

Bobby lists his hobbies as deer hunting and mushroom hunting.
