Christian Nurture and education are a lifelong journey. At First Presbyterian Church we seek to hold forth the word of life through lifelong education. There are many ways for adults to participate in Christian Education:

Wednesday Night Lights:

Wednesday nights are used to focus on topics of interest to adults. We most recently offered Financial Peace University, learning to meditate using the Labyrinth and exploring Generational Poverty in St. Joseph and the world, led by Pastor Krista as she has completed a study of this topic in her quest for her doctorate of ministry. See our Wednesday Night Lights page for the current schedule.

Sunday Morning Adult Study

One or two small groups meet at 9:15am on Sunday morning to study the Bible and talk about faith. These topics change and there is always coffee!!

Wednesday Morning Bible Study:

This study is a straight reading of a book of the Bible. This study meets off campus - please call the church office for the location. The Bible study meets at 10:30am.

This group of men meet each Thursday morning for Bible study beginning at 11:15am. After about an hour's discussion of their reading, they many times go on to have lunch together. No invitation needed ... all are welcome! Pastor John Watson organized the group.
